Updated: Mar 9, 2020

About This Game Memoranda is a game about forgetting and being forgotten!A point and click adventure game with magic realism elements that tells the story of a young lady who gradually realizes she is forgetting her own name. Is she really losing her memory or is there something else that could explain the strange circumstances? The story happens in a quiet little town where a few ordinary and strange characters live together. Including a World War II surviving soldier to an elephant taking shelter in a man’s cottage hoping to become a human. There is one thing all these characters have in common: they are losing something. It could be a name, a husband or even someone’s sanity! The story is inspired by various Haruki Murakami short stories that describe a surreal world full of lonely characters.Features - A classic 2D point and click adventure game in a magic realism setting.- Unique and beautiful hand-drawn full-HD 2D graphics.- Inspired by many of Haruki Murakami’s short stories.- Original soundtrack with more than 15 tracks.- Thousands of lines of dialog with English voice over.- Meet more than 35 characters in 40 different locations. 7aa9394dea Title: MemorandaGenre: Adventure, IndieDeveloper:Bit ByterzPublisher:Digital DragonRelease Date: 25 Jan, 2017 Memoranda Activation Code [crack] I was impressed with the art style they went for it is gorgeous, theretro 60's style you'd find in countless posters, books and cartoons.Though the game itself is very linear , the puzzles you have to completone at the time, however the journal gives you multiple clues togo for but that's just to make it all ''sphaggeti'' you are allwaysonly chasing one goal. I had a few instances that I was like.....HUH? when I try to complete a puzzle and had to look it up because the Logic was really really awkward. I think that it's a shame, when point & click adventure game have puzzles that are un-logic. people will need to look it up and they aretempted to use the guide for the rest of the game.Anyway, the voices were recorded well though! and story wise, meh not my cookie, very strange storyjust like the puzzles..I thought about it because point & click games are one of my favorite games and I do hope this genre stays. But since puzzles are mandatory I would have liked to give ain between rating , but since that's not possible I'm geared toward no... I think Memoranda is a fresh point-and-click game mainly in terms of atmosphere, storyline, and characters. However, the setting is quite surreal and the storyline is confusing in the least of the terms. Some puzzles are very strange but I guess it's kind of ok, many good adventure games have very strange or difficult puzzles. The locations are very unique and detailed. There are tons of very strange and bizzarre characters. It feels like most of the characters are allegories to something or social situation but I missed nearly all of them. I feel like the storyline will make more sense if you've read several Murakami books. Pros:- Very beatiful art direction both in terms of graphics, music, sound, and their harmony.- Simple and intuitive mechanics- Very different characters compared to other adventure games. Cons:- The story is introduced very abrutly in the beginning. Is the challenge of Mizuki finding her name or being able to sleep? It feels like the later but the game seems to focus on the former without explaining much.- Some elements hasn't seem to be resolved at the end.- The ending has been very confusing to me. I didn't feel a lot of closure to the storyline.. a classic point n click adventure, set in a seaside small town with a lot's of strange creatures. the story is simple, the graphics are beautifully hand drawed. the puzzles are fair, not so hard to solve them. all together it was a really nice time what i spend on this game. just recommend!. Clearly inspired by Murakami, this was a genuine treat for me that spent wayyy too much time on my wishlist. I'll list pros and cons below, but the general summary is that if you enjoyed classic point-and-clicks (and aren't afraid of moonlogic or the need to look at walkthroughs) I would highly recommend this game...although it is short, so perhaps wait for a sale pushing the title below $10.Pros:+Really intriguing story that, like much of Murakami's writing, seems to live in and create a world of its own. +The storyworld opens up gradually and logically meaning that I never felt uncertain as to what to do next or like I didn't have somewhere new to explore.+Artwork is beautiful.+Soundtrack, sound effects, and voice acting are all professionally done.+In-character puzzle design: this is ALSO in the cons category, as this will definitely be a deal-breaker for many players, but the fact that the puzzles were so fitting to the protagonist and the story being told was something I really appreciated. Yes, they were difficult (and moon logic-y), but I'm not afraid of walkthroughs, so I was happy to turn to one when needed. I really liked the fact that this made the gameplay reflect the story, and hence become part of the narrative itself. Besides, the puzzles sort of reminded me of those in Monkey Island 2, where when I figured out that you could pick up animals and use them as objects, 1. my mind was blown, 2. I was kicking myself, and 3. it completely changed the way I looked at the gameplay and what was expected of me. It might not be for everyone, but I like that kind of experience.Cons:-As mentioned by many (and which I mentioned above), the puzzles definitely employ moon logic. As I discuss in my pros column, this really does suit the character/story you are playing, but if you're afraid of walkthroughs I would suggest steering-clear...or else be willing to perform a lot of experimentation in order to complete this.-Brief length for the price. As mentioned in my opening, the regular price is a little high for the length of gameplay...tg for frequent Steam sales!. The connection to Murakami's work seems to be in reference only- I wouldn't say the game explores many of the themes common in Murakami's work. When the game worked, it was pretty whimsical. When it didn't, it was an obtuse chore. Best played with a guide to avoid visiting the same locations over and over to see if anything's changed.. I've been fiddling with my profile and noticed that the rarest Steam badge I have is of this game, and it's only level 1 at the moment. Meaning there are too few people own this game, let alone played it. Yeah, only 64 reviews on Steam, despite being bundled for the third time now during just a year. Twice on IndieGala, that's a shame. No, the game is not a masterpiece by any means, but I feel like IndieGala is too low. The score of 58 on Metacritic is too low as well. Current 71% approval on Steam is more like it.It is a decent point and click adventure. It has good artwork, surreal story, sometimes confusing puzzles (not sure if it's a bad thing since most if not all beloved classic point-n-clicks have those), dreadful or at least amature voice acting (main character's voice annoyed me the most I think). If you can overlook the flaws (I didn't find them particularly bad), there are some pros to enjoy here.
